Today's pier in Kołobrzeg was officially opened on 19 January 1971. It is 220 metres long and 9 metres wide. The walking pier is located 4.5 metres above sea level. At its end, there is a two-storey head, which can serve as a harbour for small cruise ships. A major refurbishment of the pier was carried out in 2014. The cost of the revitalisation of the facility is estimated to be around PLN 3 million. It is worth knowing that the pier in Kołobrzeg is the longest reinforced concrete structure of its kind in Poland.
