Ekopark The East Park in Kolobrzeg is a real oasis for nature lovers. Located in the north-eastern part of the city, the landscape park covers an area of approximately 381 hectares and was established in 1996 to protect the unique ecosystem of the Salt Marsh. The park is home to a rich flora, including rare plants such as the salt aster, and a diverse fauna, with more than 100 species of birds, including cranes and eagles. Among the deciduous trees and pine dunes, we can also find reptiles and amphibians. Wooden footbridges lead through the park, allowing walkers and cyclists easy access to the charming landscapes and wetlands. The hornbeam bindaż in Kołobrzeg, located at the intersection of Mickiewicza and Towarowa Streets, by the Morning Concerts Square, is a picturesque corner that delights regardless of the season. One of the park's main attractions is its pond with a fountain, which provides a home for many species of birds, as well as a beautiful place to sit and contemplate. A path leads around the pond, which is surrounded by a variety of trees and shrubs.
The park also has playgrounds for childrenwhich makes it ideal for families. Well-maintained alleys and paths encourage walks, and the park also hosts a variety of cultural events and activities, especially during the summer season.

The oldest oak trees in Poland
In Ustron Morski, a town near Kołobrzeg, you can admire two of the oldest oak trees in Poland, which are true natural treasures. The first, named "Bolesław", is estimated to be around 800 years old, and the second, named "Warcisław", is around 640 years old. The age of these majestic trees was precisely determined thanks to a dendrological survey carried out in 2000.
The "Bolesław" oak is located approximately 2.5 km away, while the "Warcisław" oak is 3.5 km in a straight line from Podczela. In order to allow nature lovers easy access to these impressive natural monuments, a blue hiking trail has been marked out, which leads directly to these magnificent oaks. Walking along the trail, visitors have a unique opportunity to experience the centuries-old history hidden in the mighty trunks of these trees.
