DE Kolobrzeg's beaches
Kołobrzeg's beaches are among the most beautiful in Poland. In 2022, they were honoured by Travelist magazine, ranking second place in the ranking of the most beautiful national beaches. The authors of the ranking explicitly call them the pride of the polish coast.
Local bathing waters are regularly awarded Blue Flags, a distinction for the most accessible, safe and clean beaches. In 2022, they were flown at the West Beach, the East "Baltic" bathing area and the East "Stone Sledge").
Our apartments in Kołobrzeg are located close to the beaches - flats on Tadeusza Kosciuszko Street are located just 400m from the beach just behind the green belt, and the furthest are a little more than 1000m away.
During the summer season, bathing facilities are located at the beaches: Central, Western and Eastern.
Central beach
Kołobrzeg's Central Beach is about 400 meters long and up to 90 meters wide. Its advantage is easy accessibility – you'll reach it without any trouble, as it's located by molo, and the area is full of cafés, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
Central beach is well-maintained and regularly cleaned. In the summer the bathing area is guarded by lifeguards, so you can feel safe. In the near future, the beach is to be covered by MOSiR monitoring - cameras will be installed in the strip from the pier to the stone rampart. This will significantly improve the safety of beachgoers.
East beach
The Eastern Beach (Plaża Wschodnia) near the Podczele district is very popular due to easy access to the lighthouse and the promenade. It is wide and incredibly picturesque.
Moreover, it a place friendly to our four-legged friends – dogs can be walked on the beach from the last beach access point in Podczele all the way to the border with Ustronie Morskie.

West beach
Western Beach in Kolobrzeg, although slightly narrower than the others and about 200 metres long, offers its own unique charm. It is a quieter place, ideal for those who want a break from the crowds. A great asset of this beach is its cleanliness and the good condition of the water. This beach is also a pet-friendly place – from the last beach access point all the way to the border with Grzybowo, there is a specially designated section for dogs. If you're particularly interested in a peaceful stay with your dog on this beach, then our Aqua Shell flat on shell street will be the ideal choice.
