During the hike, you will encounter a variety of landscapes - from forest paths, through open spaces with beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, to steeper climbs. A particular highlight of the route is reaching Stóg Izerski, which is one of the highest peaks in the Jizera Mountains (1107 m). Climbing Stóg Izerski is the most demanding part of the route, but at the same time it rewards you with magnificent panoramas that remain in your memory for a long time.
The trail is well signposted and traversing it does not require any special equipment other than comfortable mountain walking shoes and suitable clothing adapted to the weather conditions. Nevertheless, it is worth remembering the basic rules of mountain safety and always carry a map and water.

Stage 1: Świeradów-Zdrój, Sienkiewicza Street to Zaj±cznik - Discovering beauty and challenges
The first stage of our hike starts in Świeradów-Zdrój, at Sienkiewicza Street. It is about 1.9 km long and can be covered in an average of 40 minutes. It is characterised by a relatively gentle ascent, with a total ascent of 103 metres and a total descent of 26 metres.
The key point of this stage is Zajêcznik, a picturesque peak 679 metres above sea level, which is a popular destination for mountain hikers. Not only does Zajęcznik offer beautiful views of the surrounding area, but it is also an important point for mountain bikers, thanks to the Singletrack located there.
The Singletrack in Zaj±cznik is a specially designed route for mountain bikers that is very popular. It is a perfectly designed path that winds through forests and meadows, offering not only an athletic challenge but also unforgettable views. The route is well suited to different levels of ability, ensuring that there is something for every mountain biking enthusiast.
It is worth remembering that although the Singletrack is suitable for bicycles, hikers can also use it, which makes the Zajêcznik attractive for both two-wheelers and those who prefer to admire the charms of the Jizera Mountains on their own feet.

Stage 2: Zajêcznik to Pod Świeradówką
After leaving Zajêcznik, the second leg of our journey on the green trail takes us to a place known as Pod Świeradówką. This section is about 0.9 km long and can be covered in about 15 minutes. It is a relatively easy part of the route, with no significant ascents (the sum of ascents is 0 metres) and a slight descent (the sum of descents is 11 metres).
Pod Świeradówką is a key intersection of trails and routes below Świeradówka mountain. This place is not only an important landmark for hikers, but also an interesting nook with picturesque views of the surrounding peaks of the Jizera Mountains.

Stage 3: Under the Świeradówka River to Czerniawa-Zdrój, Sanatoryjna Street
The third stage of our hike takes us further to Czerniawa-Zdrój, more precisely to Sanatorium Street. This section of the trail is 1.7 km long and the average walking time is around 30 minutes. It is characterised by a gentle profile, with an ascent total of 28 metres and a greater descent total of 77 metres.
Czerniawa-Zdrój is a picturesque spa town, famous for its rich history and beautiful historic sanatoriums. Sanatoriumjna Street is the heart of this resort, and passing through here, you can feel the unique atmosphere of the place. The surroundings of Czerniawa-Zdrój are a perfect combination of the therapeutic properties of the local mineral waters and the charming landscape of the Jizera Mountains.
As you pass through Czerniawa-Zdrój, stop for a moment to admire the historic architecture and relax in one of the local parks or cafes, taking in the charms of this unique place.

Stage 4: Czerniawa-Zdrój, Izerska Street to the starting point of the trails

It is characterised by a moderate ascent (the sum of ascents is 79 metres) and a minimal descent (the sum of descents is 4 metres), making it relatively easy and pleasant for most hikers.
As you pass through Czerniawa-Zdrój, you will notice a change in the surroundings from the resort buildings to more natural landscapes, foreshadowing the mountainous terrain that awaits you. Izerska Street is like a gateway, leading directly into the heart of the Jizera Mountains, where nature presents its full beauty.

Stage 5: From Czerniawa-Zdrój to Stóg Izerski
The final leg of our hike is a trip to Stóg Izerski, one of the highest peaks in the Jizera Mountains. This section is 3.6 km long, with an average walking time of around 1 hour and 40 minutes. This is the most demanding part of the route, with an impressive total ascent of 480 metres and a minimum drop (1 metre).
Climbing Stóg Izerski is a real challenge, but also an unforgettable experience. With every step you take upwards, you discover more and more breathtaking views. The trail leads through picturesque forests, meadows and rocky terrain, making every moment of this hike unique.
